When the API is down: SSR fallbacks in Nuxt (Sample post)

A sample post: rendering the layout from fallback data so a server outage never produces a blank page.

The idea

Merge whatever the API returns over a small, safe default, and return HTTP 503 from the server render so crawlers try again later.
